I’m taking the GitHub repo for this site private. This is something I have been thinking of for quite some time and it all boils down to a single reason: it will allow me to write more.
I could needlessly elaborate on it but:
- I don’t feel comfortable adding DRAFT articles to my repo, since some essays I’m working on might be misunderstood unless properly developed.1
- Due to [1.] I’ve lost a couple of drafts to oblivion. I don’t want to repeat that mistake.
- I no longer believe that having comments on my blog justifies an open repo; I am readily available on Discord.
- My hacky elisp back-end will be shared as a whole emacs package someday and I’ll see how I can make it widely available sooner.
